Good news: 5,523 more 78s uploaded to archive.org, to bring the total to 93,915 digitized for the Great 78 Project. Most of this month is from the Boston Public Library, and bunches of albums. so over 8,000 sides, but only 5,523 "items" (an album or a side of a singleton). https://archive.org/details/georgeblood?and%5B%5D=publicdate%3A%5B2018-09-10+TO+*%5D&sin= I was able to put dates on 68% of them based on automatic and semi-automatic matching against several scanneddiscographies, 78discography, dahr, discogs, 45worlds, and cashbox magazine searches. We are looking for more collections that are already digital, can be donated physically and we will scan them, or digitized sponsored by others. We are hoping to digitize 400,000 sides in this phase of the project. -brewster
