You will need to create a username and password to register.

The registration fee is $25.00 which helps to defray expenses of the event,
including morning continental breakfast and lunch. All attendees and
presenters must pre-register; no on-site registration will be accepted.
Please include any disability accommodations or special dietary needs when
you register. Contact the Symposium Planning Committee at:

This is the only DC-area symposium that brings together practitioners,
students, and faculty from all sectors of the information profession for a
day of sharing and collaboration. Details of the program are available at:
https://lis.catholic.edu/news-events/symposium/2019/index.html

This year we are excited to have Mr. Mark Sweeney, Principal Deputy
Librarian of Congress as our keynote speaker! Please visit the symposium
website to learn more.

In addition, a panel of cataloging experts from the Library of Congress
will discuss the RDA Toolkit Restructure and Redesign Project and its
implications for LC cataloging practices and the Bibframe editor.

Seats are limited, so register early! Past symposia have sold out! We
anticipate that this one will sell out quickly too.

We look forward to seeing you at the Symposium!
