Hi all,

I’m writing to you again because we have realized that links we sent last Friday to display records of units of description in EAD3 are broken, so I’m sending them to you again in order to you can see them

Sorry for the inconvenience,

Xavier Agenjo

Dear all,

I’m writing to you from DIGIBIS, a Spanish company which has developed an archival management system, DIGIARCH, and you can see in:

DIGIARCH allows for displaying and exporting records of units of description in EAD3. You can check some examples in these links:

DIGIARCH also allows for sending records of units of description in EAD3 by means of OAI-PMH repository:

Finally, you should know that Galician Digital Archive has registered his own METS profile in EAD3 in the Library of Congress: Galiciana: Digital Archive of Galicia - General Digital Object Profile (http://www.loc.gov/standards/mets/profiles/00000046.xml). You can also check it in https://github.com/SGA-AEP/mets-profile.

I hope that this information was interesting for you!

Kind regards,

Xavier Agenjo Bullón

Michele,

Our new hub for EAD3 still needs some sprucing up (as well as a few EAD3 adjustments), but all of Yale’s EAD3 files are available here: https://github.com/YaleArchivesSpace/Archives-at-Yale-EAD3.

Also, you can check out EAD3 examples for any of the Library of Congress finding aids from their Print/Download tab.  Here’s an example:  http://findingaids.loc.gov/db/search/xq/searchMfer02.xq?_id=loc.mss.eadmss.ms001033&_faSection=printDownload&_faSubsection=otherfindaid&_dmdid=d12533e5

I hope that helps…  and I’m interested in learning about other examples, too.

Mark

Subject: EAD3 examples?

Hi all –

I know that the https://github.com/saa-ead-roundtable/ead3-toolkit site on GitHub has a few examples of EAD3 files, but does anyone know of a large batch of them that’s available publicly?  I’ve had a question from someone about where to find a wider range of examples.

Thanks

Michele
