[cross posted to multiple PCC discussion lists]

Dear PCC colleagues,

The PCC Operations Committee will meet at the Library of Congress (LC) on Thursday May 2, 2019 and Friday May 3, 2019.

Due to the limited capacity of the Montpelier Room, one of LC's largest meeting rooms, we will be restricting the number of registered attendees.

We will accommodate invited speakers and those attendees who have been notified that they are eligible for partial travel reimbursement. A limited number of additional registered PCC attendees will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.

Because of space limitations, we ask that no more than two additional persons from the same institution register to attend the meeting.

If you are planning to attend the meeting, please register by submitting the form: Attendance at the 2019 PCC Operations Committee Meeting: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/KLRYZLW

Invited speakers and those who have been notified of their eligibility for partial travel reimbursement should NOT use this form. We already know you will be attending.

We will use the data in the form for planning the meeting, the dinner on Thursday evening, and the Wikidata workshop on Friday afternoon.

Please note: The registration form will be closed when the maximum number of registrants has been reached or on March 15, 2019, whichever occurs first.

A waiting list will be established after the survey closes. Openings that become available will be filled from the waiting list. Preference will be given to members of the Operations Committee and the Policy Committee. Otherwise, openings will be filled on a first come, first served basis.

Location of the meeting:

Washington, DC

Meeting times:

Thursday, May 2, 2019: 8:30 am-5:00 pm
Friday, May 3, 2019: 8:30 am-12:00 pm

An optional workshop on Wikidata is planned for Friday from 1:00-4:00 pm.

Further details about the meeting and the agenda will be made available closer to the meeting.

Lodging:

Attendees may make any housing arrangements that suit them while in DC.

For your convenience, we have reserved a block of hotel rooms at the Capitol Hill Hotel, adjacent to the Library of Congress, at government rates, $251.00 (subject to state and local taxes). The number of rooms is limited, so accommodation will be provided on a first come, first served basis.

Attendees choosing to reserve a room in the block will make their own reservations at the Capitol Hill Hotel and will be responsible entirely for any expenses they incur.
Reservations for this block of rooms at this rate must be made by the cutoff date of April 1, 2019.

Attendees may make reservations by using the link below or by calling 202-448-2081 and requesting the rate for "Library of Congress- PCC Operations Committee Meeting (OpCo)." When using the link, guests must choose the check-in date, check-out date, and select "check availability."
