I should know this, but, obviously, I don't. W.R. Moran, in his discography of Caruso published in Enrico Caruso, My Father and My Family, notes that Victor 95203 and 10008 (final trio from Faust) were pressed from dubbed matrices after a certain point. My copy of 10008 does not show S/8 for the Faust trio. So for double face issues did Victor manage to squeeze a few more pressings from the original matrix, or did they just use the S/8 dubbing without marking it as such? The DAHC entry for this (https://adp.library.ucsb.edu/index.php/matrix/detail/200008626/C-8545-Prison_scene_part_III) makes no mention of it ever being an S/8. Thanks. Howard Sanner
