For the first time ever, PTPL is offering a workshop devoted to Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) and WebDewey. The workshop will focus on these topics:

  *   Overview of DDC
  *   WebDewey basics
  *   Number building refreshers
  *   Number building engine
  *   Standard subdivisions and tables
  *   Internal add tables
  *   Number building exercises in WebDewey
  *   Using the comments to record local practice
WebDewey 101 is geared toward practitioners in school and public libraries. Participants should feel free to bring classification questions and examples of items they routinely handle.
