All the headings that are already controlled in Connexion will be automatically updated if you change the NAR.  It doesn’t rely on a 4XX field.

Subject: [PCCLIST] Incorrect dates in AAP

Dear colleagues,

We have come across an authorized access point with an incorrect date in the 100 field. We would like to correct it. The NACO FAQ states not to add a 4xx field for the (NACO FAQ no. 9 There are many headings affected in OCLC. If there is no variant access point to provide a link, these access points will not be corrected. Also, there is no support for the incorrect date, except for an LC in RLIN citation of the AACR2 heading. Should this rule still be followed? We are not finding it very user friendly. The access point in question is nr 91024076. The correct date is 1820 not 1819.

Any advice is appreciated.
