Dear PCC colleagues,

The ALA Annual Conference is coming up soon. Please consider joining the ANSS Subject and Bibliographic Access Committee!

The committee provides a fun and interesting forum for the exchange of information related to bibliographic access to materials in anthropology, sociology, criminology and criminal justice, and related fields.

Several times per year, the committee produces Q/A guides that answer questions related to subject access, cataloging issues, and policies. The process for creating the guides gives members an opportunity to be creative and have fun with intellectual and abstract topics. https://anssacrl.wordpress.com/publications/cataloging-qa/

We are a welcoming group of librarians, and new members will find that the committee is a good way to get involved in ALA/ACRL/ANSS. We do almost all of our work virtually so attendance at ALA is not required.

Please reply directly to [log in to unmask] if you are interested in joining.

Peace,

Isabel Quintana (Harvard Library)
