Hello Becky and everyone:

OCLC does plan to post all of the Midwinter booth "hot topics" presentations within a week or two after Midwinter. When that happens, I'll send a link to the list.

Thanks for asking!
Cynthia

Hi Cynthia,
Will these be posted somewhere after ALA for those of us who can't attend?

Thanks,
Becky

Subject: [PCCLIST] Jay Weitz presenting at ALA Midwinter booth on DDR

Please join us for an OCLC Hot Topics session on "Improving WorldCat Quality," a fifteen-minute presentation on how OCLC's Duplicate Detection and Resolution (DDR) software has evolved to eliminate more bibliographic duplicates in WorldCat. Jay Weitz, Senior Consulting Database Specialist, will present the session twice, 10:30-10:45 a.m. on both Saturday, January 25, and Sunday, January 26, at the OCLC Booth 1541 in the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Advance registration for the OCLC Hot Topics sessions is NOT required.

Other OCLC Metadata Quality staff members will be at the booth for these as well for individual questions or discussion right Jay's presentation. We hope to see cataloging colleagues and anyone interested in this topic at the booth for one of these presentations if you are attending ALA Midwinter.
