once more thought before the weekend

It looks like the URIs, if added to the series statements, are entered as strings, as opposed to URIs...
maybe this is what you are thinking about Christine

Feature Request to make use of linked data?

i am thinking yes... [smiley face emoji]

have a good weekend

We've considered using "related work" or "related instance" but we're not sure whether this is appropriate.

great topic

I know that since LC is not establishing series names any longer, this might have dropped as a priority for them - not sure

thank you for bringing this up

Ah series. We have been discussing series with LC for the past few years, and have not really come to any agreement. Personally, I am not happy with how they have modeled series in BF and I believe this is the same with a few others. Now that we have the basic profiles working (except for my messing it up yesterday), and people have more experience, it is time to start discussing in more depth how certain parts of our profiles should be modeled.

Perhaps this is a topic for the next profiles meeting?

How are people handling traced series in their instance records? We have a series statement template that is basically a 490 but we also trace series in our bibs and there are times when that might be handy in Sinopia.

Thanks!
