Hi Pete,

The new policy is limited right now to incomplete collections of poetry by one agent.

Similar policies applied to incomplete collections of other forms by one agent would be the logical next step, and will be explored not only by the Library of Congress, but by the PCC as well.

Hi Paul,

I like this change.

Is a similar change likely for collections of short stories?  (Or has it already happened without my noticing?)

Thanks,

Pete

Hi everyone,

***** Posting this to several discussion lists. Apologies for duplication.*****

Beginning today, June 1, 2020, the Library of Congress is changing its current practice with respect to the cataloging of incomplete collections of poetry by one agent.  The attached explains how the Library of Congress will implement this change in policy.
