Hi all – It looks like there’s an interesting event online today at 6pm hosted by Arlen Bankston (of LitheSpeed) and Lisa Mabil on
The Art of Designing Agile Simulations and "Serious" Games.
Description:
We've all heard of "Agile games." The moniker typically refers to small-scale exercises that last for a few minutes and convey one or two learning objectives.
What if we wanted to convey several concepts at once in something more akin to an end-to-end simulation, though? That's where things really get fun!
This seems similar to a conversation that I had with Arlen recently about something we were trying to do here at the Library, so I’m curious to see what thoughts he now hsd on the subject. You might also find it interesting and possibly
learn some techniques to help others learn about Agile along the way.
