The Ralph J. Bunche Library at the U.S. Department of State has just posted a vacancy announcement for a Library Technician to join our team. The position is being recruited at the GS 5/6, with promotion potential to GS 8. This
position is on the Library's Reference team and the selected candidate will be responsible for assisting with requests from Bureaus and overseas posts throughout the Department.

About the Ralph J. Bunche Library: Founded by Thomas Jefferson in 1789, the Library has the distinction of being the oldest federal library and is currently in its 230th year of continuous service to the men and women of the Department of State. In 1997,
