Hello Gary I’m happy to explain You know what a piano roll is, yes? The piano roll mode gives the appearance of a piano roll with lines to represent the holes in a roll. There’s a picture of a vertical keyboard on the left side of the screen and lines going across the screen coming from the keyboard. There are vertical lines representing bars and measures. You can place a line on a note, make it longer or shorter in the key of your choice and the computer will play that note. You can compose and arrange music that way. Later, I will send you a picture of that screen. Regards Ben On Thursday, December 31, 2020, Gary A.
