>That sounds like a display issue.  This will be happening in thousands of other name/title records.  For instance, the narrator of an audio book is often listed as a 500 in the name-title record.  Does this problem happen on those, too?

When the narrator isn't also the author, it shouldn't be a problem.

This is a display issue and I don't know how to fix it as I don't know how to identify those records.  I can't just suppress 500s, or even 500s with $i.

I understand the need to explain the relationship between the name and the title, but repeating the name in another field is bad database design.  There should be a better way.

I removed the 500 locally because it caused that record to move up to first in the alphabetical list of Beethoven name/title entries.  The other option is to add it to all the other records, but that's a lot of work.

See the PCC Guidelines for the Application of Relationship Designators in NACO Authority Records (https://www.loc.gov/aba/pcc/rda/PCC%20RDA%20guidelines/PCC%20SCS%20SCT%20Relationship%20Designators%20in%20NACO%20Authority%20Records-2018-11.docx) Guideline 15 and the examples there:

"The relationship between a work and its principal creator is implied in an authority record for a work by the presence of the authorized access point for the creator within the authorized access point for a work. However, this does not allow for specifying the exact type of creator relationship in the access point (e.g., “author”, “composer”, “cartographer”).  Nor does it record the relationship to other creators, when there is more than one.

Although the relationship designator for the creator is recorded in the bibliographic record as required by the Training Manual for Applying Relationship Designators in Bibliographic Records[1][1], a cataloger may optionally record the explicit relationship designator between a work and its creator in the authority record for a work using a 5XX field for the creator and a relationship designator from RDA Appendix I.2.1. When recording the relationship between a work and multiple creators, record each in a separate 5XX field."

Why does that 500 exist?  It doesn't appear on other Beethoven records (well, the few I looked at)
