Hi Everyone -

I just wanted to send an e-mail to invite you and your staffs to participate via webinar in a free Department of the Interior Library Training Session entitled "Introduction to ProQuest's Indian Claims Insight Database" on Tuesday, April 27th from 2:00 to 3:00 pm ET, part of our series of free training sessions available from the DOI Library.

ProQuest’s Indian Claims Insight is a one-of-a-kind research tool that provides researchers with the opportunity to understand and analyze Native American migration and resettlement throughout U.S. history. It also addresses U.S. Government Indian removal policies and subsequent actions to address Native American claims. Content includes decisions, transcripts, docket books, journals of the Indian Claims Commission, and related statutes and congressional publications. Researchers can also trace the journeys of Indians as U.S. government Indian removal policies pushed them from their ancestral lands and forced them to relocate, as well as the determination of the tribes to gain standing in court to bring action against the U.S. Government to seek redress for inequities in the treaty process. This training session, taught via webinar by a ProQuest trainer, will cover the content in the database, review searching and document types and will also provide attendees with links to additional support materials.

All that are interested are invited.  Please go to the following link to request webinar registration information:
