the Packard Campus in Culpeper, Virginia.

The position serves as the Audio Visual Maintenance Specialist in the
Motion Picture Broadcasting and Recorded Sound Division (MBRS) within
Library Services at the Library of Congress (LOC at the Packard Campus in
Culpeper, Virginia). The position is located at the National Audio-Visual
Conservation Center (NAVCC) and reports to the Sound Laboratory Supervisor.
The incumbent is responsible for maintaining the equipment used for the
processing, preservation and duplication of magnetic tape, disc, wire,
cylinder recordings; and associated support equipment for the sound
preservation laboratory, including a broad array of obsolete equipment that
has not been manufactured for decades but is still essential to
preservation production.
