Summary
This position is located within Martinsburg VA Medical Center, Martinsburg, WV. The primary purpose of this position is to develop, manage and direct an extensive local library program, provide information and reference support to clinical and nursing programs, councils and committees and serve as an active team member with the multi-disciplinary management and clinical operations.

Responsibilities
Your duties can include but are not limited to the following:

     *   Recommends and establishes the scope and extent of library programs and services to be offered
     *   Develops and maintains knowledge-based systems and services relevant to the organizations needs
     *   Develops, recommends, and monitors program budgets
     *   Develops and implements corrective measures and new procedures to improve and/or expand library services
     *   Collaborate with the VISN, VA Library Network (VALNET) and the VA Library Network Office (LNO) to continuously improve delivery of health care information
     *   Capitalizes on existing and emerging technologies to improve access to pertinent information resources
     *   Performs other duties as assigned
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday - 8am to 4:30pm
