All-please note the following for those attending the National Book Festival: 1) The time for table set-up on Sept. 2 is 8am-5pm only. Everyone must leave the convention center by 5 pm. 2) Our pre-NBF meeting is set to begin at 3. We will call an end to the meeting about 4:45, as per the above. 3) You should plan on setting up your table before 3pm on Sept. 2. There will not be time to set up on the day of the festival. I have been told this takes about an hour or two, depending on how much material you want to set out, etc. If you finish up about 3pm, then you can walk from the exhibition floor to the meeting, which is in Room 156. Of course, you can choose to set up any time you wish that day. 4) I am still waiting for the Exhibitor's Kit, which will provide mailing instructions for your materials. I don't know when I will have this but you will receive it as soon as I do and it will arrive in time to make the shipping deadlines. Please do not miss our meeting this Thursday at 3 Eastern, especially if you are attending. Much of the discussion will focus on NBF. Many of your colleagues know more than I do about the actual set-up of your tables, so feel free to ask questions of the veteran NBF attendees. (By the way, we have another meeting, right before NBF, on Thursday, Aug. 25, so we will have time to answer last-minute questions at that meeting.)
