NLS Operations Alert No. 22-94 DATE : October 3, 2022 TO : Network Libraries FROM : Stephen Prine, Patron and Network Engagement Division SUBJECT : Correction on Conference resolutions for 2022 NLS inadvertently responded with a duplicate response to two of the Northern Conference resolutions in Operations Alert 22-90, 2022 Conference resolutions. Below is Resolution 5 with the correct response. 5. We resolve to ask NLS to greatly expand the NLS collections of urban fiction; disability theory (written by disabled peoples); feminist theory and writings; queer and trans history, theory, memoirs, and writings (own voices); racial justice; leftist political theory; independent publishers, and poetry. NLS Response: We appreciate this resolution and will continue our efforts to diversify the collection. We apologize for the error.
