Research & Development Project Manager

Bibliographical Center for Research (BCR), a multi-state, library
services network, seeks an innovative and dynamic Project Manager
for its Aurora, Colorado office.  The Project Manager will be
responsible for managing and coordinating BCR's Research &
Development program, identifying and evaluating, and actively
pursuing potential projects and activities that meet BCR member
library needs.  The person in this position will provide planning and
technical assistance in the development of World Wide Web (WWW)
and electronic publishing projects for member libraries, promote R&D
products and services and make presentations to libraries. Other
duties include participating in training, system maintenance and other
aspects of project implementation.

Required are an ALA accredited MLS degree, a minimum of two years
of intensive experience developing and administrating information
services in a library or library network, experience with computer
networks, the Internet and WWW site administration. Experience with
SilverPlatter ERL and/or Partner Publishing software is desirable.  Also
required are demonstrable experience and success in project planning,
knowledge of HTML, and experience in technical writing. Experience
training adults is preferred. The successful candidate will have clear
oral and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills.

The individual in this position will receive a minimum salary of $
37,122 negotiable depending upon experience, possible incentive
awards, consulting fees, and annual salary adjustments.  BCR has
liberal staff development funding, a pleasant working environment and
an excellent benefit package.  The position will remain open until the
