        The National Institutes of Health Library has had a contract
with a private company to provide shelvers, interlibrary loan
photocopiers and an on-site supervisor.  The contract will soon be up
for renewal.

        We are considering bidding it as a Government-Wide Acquisitions
Contract (GWAC).  If we do so, other federal libraries could order
experienced library personnel through this contract as needed, without
having to go through an independent bid process each time.  We would
like to know if there is any interest among you for this kind of
staffing contract.

        If your library might be interested in placing task orders under
such a contract, please respond to these questions as soon as possible:
