I am not currently on the FEDLIB list, so PLEASE RESPOND DIRECTLY TO

I am compiling some information on federal libraries and whether there is
any way we can recover costs or "charge" for certain services without
the funds going into the Government General Fund.  Are there any federal
libraries out there that have found a way to:

use OCLC IFM to "charge" other libraries that borrow from your
interlibrary loan departments;

keep monies paid to you as overdue or lost materials fees?


Your input is appreciated.
