due to its working relationship with the FDR Presidential Library, was
instrumental in implementing the digital preservation of the contents in
the FDR Library. Throughout his library career, Mr. McGinty has
specialized in the adaptation, development, and integration of
computerized services and resources into library workflow. For the past
three years, he has been working on a large-scale digital library
project in collaboration with IBM and several research institutions
nationwide, including the Library of Congress. Mr. McGinty holds an
masters in Library Science from Rutgers University and an MBA from the
University of Connecticut.

in Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York,

science, and has worked extensively with modern technologies for
digitization of materials, including United Nations documents, library
