Apropos of this topic, has there been any progress with an archival attribute set for Z39.50? Should not this be the standard really concerned with controlling how searching will work across different software packages, and with integrating archival handlists with the related catalogues that our users will expect to be able to combine their searches with (not to mention the archival lists of those who fail to appreciate the way of EAD and follow other paths ...)?
