If you*re attending the Online World Conference in Washington DC next =
week, you may be interested in the program *Future Directions for =
Government Publishing.*  Join a lively discussion among various stakeholder=
s in the government information dissemination process, with representatives=
 from government publishing, public advocacy, the information industry, =
and the library community.  This session will look at electronic and Web =
publishing, centralized versus distributed access to government information=
, the Government Information Locator Service (GLIS) program, and Title 44 =
revisions proposed to accommodate new technology.  With the current =
uncertainty over the fate of S. 2288, the program will be especially =
timely.
