Teleconference for Library Professionals

Periodical Database

Librarians, new to or experienced with electronic databases, will review =
the basics and have a unique opportunity to explore the best ways to =
integrate these database resources into their libraries. Featuring =
representatives from the Gale Group, the H.W. Wilson Company, OCLC, and =
University Microfilms Inc. (UMI), the program will consist of short vendor =
presentations followed by two-way discussions where some participants will =
have the opportunity to tell vendors what they need and what database =
products would work best in their libraries.

Best of all, FLICC participants can add their questions before and after =
the program. First register with FLICC then call, write, or email DuPage =
your questions (College of DuPage Library, Student Resource Center, Room =

t.cod.edu). They will build them into the program format. Afterward, the =
DuPage Web site will offer a continuing forum that you and participating =
vendors can access.
